Construction of a Shipping Container Office in Costa Rica

The two twenty foot shipping containers arrived at our workshop last week for our new project.

This project will be a real estate office that we will build using two standard 20ft shipping containers at our workshop and the transport to the northern region of Costa Rica.

We first lined them up side by side so we can cut and pull out the sides using a backhoe.

After we cut out the entire side of the shipping container, we cut out a small hole and hooked up a chain from the backhoe to pull out the 1000 lb side wall.

Container Book Sales success

So far so good.

We have launched our shipping container home construction book and it has been received well.

There were concerns about the ability to download the book on line, but it is not that type of book. It is a collection of all our notes on the past few years of container home projects.

The container construction book was to heavy to download as an e-book so we made it into a PDF, loaded with photos and designs.
